Jeep Rides
Yom HaZikaron
Alan arranged for us to go to a local high school to meet up with a group of students that went to Poland earlier this year. We attended their Memorial Day Program where there remembered fallen soldiers that where alums from thier school. After, we met with them in small groups to discuss our experiences in Poland.

Update April 15, 2010
Whew! Let me tell you, we have been busy! I also haven't had much luck with internet connections since we left Poland (can you believe I just said that?) and the connections I have had here in Israel have been weak or non-existant. So, unfortunately, I haven't been able to update anything. I tried to put on some things tonight, but they error out during upload.
Let me just give you a written update. We have been crazy busy! As an example, today we awoke at 4:00 and climbed Masada before breakfast, herded sheep and rode camels and had a wonderful lunch with Abraham, navigated the water tunnels of the City of David, ate dinner at the hostel and spent a couple hours at the mall. And that was just today!
Hopefully there will be some pics up by tomorrow for the March itself. Auschwitz was moving, it was an amazing experience for everyone. Krawkow was fascinating and though they don't know that a bed should be "soft," they do know how to put together a beautiful marketplace.
All the kiddos are holding up pretty well considering they are lacking a little in the sleep department and are exerting a lot of energy all day long. They are thrilled to be in Israel and eating Israeli food. The complaints in Poland about the food were flying like crazy!
Once again, thanks for your patience. When I have some time and a good internet connection, I will try again to upload pics and videos for you.
Shalom!
